“Falling Leaves from Babel” brings together the work of eight artists from different parts of the world: China, South Korea, France, UK, USA, Brazil and Ecuador. It’s a meditation on their autumn spent in New York and a testament to their collective experience in this residency. Like the languages that emerged beneath the tower of Babel, each artist in this show speaks through different a medium and style. The common thread is the simultaneous evolution of each visual language you see here today. This show is about how this group of artists inspired each other to take creative leaps and push beyond their boundaries. Together, the combination of their individual energies and perspectives has created a unique alchemy that is specific to this group of artists.
